OUR HISTORY

The road to property development has many paths. Some take it up because their families are involved in it. Others stumble on it after careers that had nothing to do with property developemnt - such as former HIV specialist, a medical doctor and a carpet manufacturer.

Then there is this managing director of Platinum Victory Development Sdn. Bhd, who is developing Setapak Lake City together with Furquan Business Organisation Bhd, the landowner.

You may ask what's so different about the managing director of Platinum Victory Development Sdn. Bhd. Well, he used to love in Kampung Forlong, the area adjacent to the future Setapak Lake City. He started his career in property development during the economic downturn of 1997/98 and has tremendous achievements until today.

MISSION AND OBJECTIVES

For the next few years, Platinum Victory Development Sdn. Bhd. will focus on its development on Setapak Lake City. Setapak Lake City is a 140-acrea leasehold mixed developemnt comprising mostly high-rise residential blocks, shoplots and a 3-storey shopping centre. The project is to be developed over 10 years in four phases, with a gross developement value of RM2 billion. Finally, this will make Setapak into a fully developed city in the next few years.

ACHIEVEMENTS

In our first project, we have developed three 12-storey blocks called Pelangi Condominiums, comprising 288 units of condominiums, on a site that the company had acquired. Pelangi Condominiums was priced from RM164,000 to RM330,000 and its completely sold. The keys are all handed over with 100% satifactory based on customers' feedback. Pelangi Condominium is also voted 5th place for its management for the year 2005.

Then comes another huge project in Taman Melati Utama. Through Platinum Victory Development, it has purchased a 32-acre freehold site in Taman Melati Utama in early 2002, which is currently developed. Launched in 2002, the first phase conprised 950 units in six 17-storey blocks of condominiums are three 3-storey blocks of shop offices of 38 shoplots. The rewarding achievements is that the 950 units of condominums and the shoplots are all fully sold out in less than a year!Also, the keys were handed over 6 months ahead of time upon completion.
